Day Four...~*Animal Kingdom*~

Today we visited Disney's Animal Kingdom.

We took a short cut to get there and it only took like 5 minutes to get there. We were all suprised.

We entered the park at the Oasis---trees leaned over our heads and blocked the sun. It was just like being in the jungle. We saw the tree of life- this tree was ginormous!!!!!

After making a gameplan- we were on our way to Camp Minnie-Mickey. On the way there we met Pocahontas. (My daddy and Paw-paw had pictures made with her to.) Then we saw the Festival of the Lion King muscial. All the Lion King charaters were there and the show was magical! There was dancing, singing, and gymnastics. The monkeys were pretty cool but my favorite was singing along with Simba. Everything just looked so real and they people performing did a really good job! I was a little sad that I didn't get to meet them after the show. But...when we left the show we went to the character greeting trails where we met Goofy.

Then Donald--and he gave me a big kiss on the cheek. Then we met Chip and Dale- they were so funny.

Then we met Thumper and Miss Bunny--they are such a sweet couple of rabbits. Oh yea---and while I was waiting to meet Thumper and Miss Bunny--my Paw-Paw had this man come sing a song to me in front of everyone.

He said my name, where I lived and talked about the horse I ride named Shadow and I was sooooo embarrassed. But it was ok---we then met Lilo and Stitch on my way to the part of the park that was a little town that looked like Africa. In Africa we took the Kilmanjaro Safari ride to see the safari animals. And they were the real animals like you would see at a zoo.

It was pretty neat.  We saw giraffs, hippos, elephants, the black rhino (which is rare) and more.

Me and Billie let Paw-paw take the camera and take pictures for a little bit on our ride. But he just kept taking pictures of all the girls!

HAHAHA!! See!!! HAHAHAHA (if you didn't get that---just nevermind...)

Next we took the Wildlife Express train ride to the Conservation Station where we saw lots of things. We saw the vet office where they care for the animals at the park. And saw an xray of a snake at the park that swollowed a golf ball. They don't just take care of the actual animals there- but other animals that may wonder onto the park. I saw a live snake that I got to pet. It kind of felt like a basketball. We got to take a look at the food they feed the animals.

And took the train back to Africa so that we could move onto Asia. The town had stone roads and asian foods. It smelled so good! We rode a roller coaster named Expedition Everest. It was HUGE!! And went forward and backwards in the dark. Inside the mountain was the abominal snowman. I wanted to ride it again and again and again but we had to keep going. Then we took a break to go see Finding Nemo the Muscial. It was full of colors and they came out into the audiance. Dori was my favorite character. But the only part that disappointed me was they left out the part of the movie where Dori speaks whale. We left the musical and went to ride the rapids- which even Mimi rode with us. I got soaked!!!

And so did Paw-Paw. It was getting close to closing time for the park so we took a last look for things we just had to see. We hit the Maharajah Jungle walk where we saw the biggest bats I have ever seen!!! (actually the only real bat I have ever seen) There faces look like a fox!

They were giant fruit bats!! They were the size of cats!!! They are from southwest Asia, have up to a 10 foot wing span and sleep at night unlike most bats. Then we saw tigers, antalope and the komodo dragon.

Then we went wayyyy down into the roots of the tree of life to see this 3-D bug movie. It was all about insects. I learned that insects out number humans 200,000,000 to 1 and that we need them. We need them because bugs make lipstick!! (haha) Just kidding- they take care of some types of waste, they pollunate plants so we can grow our food to eat and they feed larger animals that have other jobs. It was just about time for the park to be closing so we of course hit a few shops. Oh---and before we left....we went to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe!!

This was the coolest place!! The inside looks like a rain forest with the walls covered with fish tanks, animals (not real ones this time) and trees. The food was really good. We all had something a little different and I of course got to try something off of everyone's plate.  All in all my favorite part of the entire day was meeting and spending time with Chip and Dale.

I think we are going to Epcot tomorrow- I will find out when I wake up.

Night for now.

Day three...~*Magic Kingdom*~

Today we took a 1 and 1/2 mile ferry ride across Seven Seas Lagoon and entered for a fun filled day at Magic Kingdom!

Then we took the Disney Express Train ride to ToonTown where we saw Mickey, Minnie and a few of the Princesses.

There was this man---very grown up man--- by himself who was in line with us to have his pictures made with all the princesses. I guess princesses aren't JUST for little kids!! I thought it was a little----Awk--ward!!
Anyways--Also, we saw and took tours of the homes of Mickey, Minnie and Donald's boat.

From there we went to TomorrowLand. This is where we rode in race cars. Paw-paw was very patient but said I was NOT ready for license. EVERYONE LOOK OUT!!

The peoplemover trolly and Space Mountain. Space Mountain was a roller coaster that makes you feel like you are flying in space. It was so cool!!  Next we moved on to FantacyLand. We got the see the famous disney castle!

It looks just like it does on TV. Oh- and we rode this one ride that took us through Peter Pan's story...it was pretty cool to! Not to mention this is one of the only rides I could get my Mimi to ride with me. (hehe)

After that, we went to FrontierLand where Paw-Paw and Billie rode the log ride and I played in the water that splashed up over the bridge when the log riders came down the 50 foot drop at the end of the ride. We went to the Pecos Bill's Tall Tale Inn & Cafe to eat burgers for lunch and then it was time for the town parade.

We got to see alot of the characters in the parade that went around the whole park! After the parade we got right back to it.  We went into the Haunted Mansion where the ghosts got to ride with us. I rode right between my daddy and Billie. Then took a Riverboat tour.

I don't remember much about the story of the tour because I was soooo excited about Billie teaching me how to use her big camera. And she let me where it and take pictures all by myself. From there, we went over to Adventureland where we took the magic carpet ride and saw the Swiss family Tree House. Man!!! Their kitchen was outside and they lived in a tree!!!  We also took a jungle boat ride and had a tour guide that was very funny.  At this point- we were all tuckered out!! So we made our way back to Main Street. They were starting another town parade and we got to dance in the streets of Disney with Chip and Dale, Woody and Jessie...and Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. Wow - it was soooo much fun!

My daddy, Mimi and Paw-Paw even danced. The only reason Billie didn't was because she was taking pictures- like normal. Then on to hit a few shops. A girl is never to tired for shopping! (My Mimi taught me that!)

What a GREAT day!!!

I got a t-shirt, scarf and earrings. The earrings are special cause my daddy got them for me. Oh and we found the disney town fire department!! My daddy and Paw-Paw were in heaven!! Since we took the ferry this morning- we took the Monorail back to PLUTO14. (That is where we parked! We are working on my "awareness" so I am memorizing where we park everywhere we go.----I'm not sure what that means but I really think its so the parents don't have to remember).

My favorite characters were Minnie, Chip and Dale. But my favorite thing all day was riding SPACE MOUNTAIN. (and to think....that is yet another ride Daddy and Billie had to drag me onto---but i ended L-O-V-ING it!)
Well- been a very long but fun day- my feet hurt but they will get over it! I wonder where we are going tomorrow.

PEACE!!!!

I squilled like a pig!!!! I was soooo excited!!!! I can't believe it!!!! I'm like a bag of jumping beans!!!! And better yet we have 4 days!!!! One day at each of the 4 parks...I can't wait. I have always wanted to go to Disney!!! We are loading the ferry to Magic Kingdom now so I will catch up this evening and tell everyone all about our first day at Disney!

Day two...SeaWorld!

Today we got up --- early ---for being on vacation anyways...had some cereal and headed to SeaWorld.

When we got there, there was soooo much to see so we got some maps and checked on show times and started piecing together a gameplan for the day. As soon as we walked in I saw SHAMU the whale and had my picture taken.

We saw the flamingos - wow..they are pink! It was the first real flamingo I have ever seen. Its funny how they stand on one foot. AND......do you know why flamingos are pink? Its because they eat shrimp. REALLY- its true!! Then went to see the dophins. And we were able to actually feed and pet them.

Now I know a dolphins head and nose area is verrrrry sensitive. This is why you should pet a dolphin on the chin or side and not on the head. We could hear them talking- they make a clicking noises. They were so friendly but felt kinda slimmy. It was soooo cool.  After that we saw the stingrays. I was a little chicken at first, but it was amazing! We just put our hands down in the water and held them still and they just come to the top of the water and rub against you- kinda like a cat does. There were underwater aquariums and gardens. The first show we saw was the dolphin show.

The trainers rode the dolphins and did tricks. They did flips really high out of the water. It was "off the hook"!!  There were also large birds in the show. They flew over our heads and were so close they could have touched us. When that was over - we stopped at the alligator pit and manatee rescue areas. Did you know that manatee is a protected species? Its nickname is the sea cow and its closest animal relative is the elephant. Pretty neat uh? Any-way...then we went to the sea lion and otter show. There was mime pirate who made us laugh before the show.  The sea lions in the show were named Clyde and Seamore. Man!!! Those guys are smart...and funny. The pirates were searching for a treasure map and the otter had it all along! It was hilarious. Next we went to see the shark tank and to eat in the Sharks underwater grill. The waitress wasn't all that nice but it was like eating under the ocean. I ordered- bet you won't guess..??...yep!..chicken tenders! They put these shark gummies on the plates- and paw-paw made us all laugh when he tried to eat one.

There were sharks swimming all around us. Oh....and there was this one tank of fish---all the fish swim backwards. Something about the current--Weird.

After that we back tracked a little to go see the penguins.

It was under ground and they looked like they were flying under water. I didn't realize there were so many different types of penguins.  Then the seals....they talk by making this barking sound. It sounded like a really bad siren sound or coon dog barking.

Next was the Journey to Atlantis ride.

I thought it was going to be like the log ride but it was so different. But in a good way. It was dark and spooky. Then a BIG drop--it startled me. But all and all---it was a fun ride. Then we headed to the other side of the park to see Shamu's show called Believe.

The trainers are can't get in the water with the whales anymore. So they just had to stand on the sides and tell the whales what to do. Well...they say you don't "tell" a whale to do anything---they "asked" the whale to do jumps, waves and claps. My favorite part was when all the whales came out and they jumped together. Oh...and when the one whale stuck is tongue out and shook it. It was funny. After Shamu we went to the Manta ride. Paw-Paw, daddy and Billie all rode. I chickened out because it just looked too big. But they said it was awesome!!! Billie and daddy said my paw-paw laughed the whole time! So I kinda wish I would have rode it. But that was ok....while they waited in line and rode the ride ---Mimi and me went shopping around in some of the stores. After that we were all pretty tired.....Billie and daddy bought me a tie-died tank top! It is FAB-U-LOUS!!! But then we left for the day.

I thought about everything as we left---trying to take it all in. We come back to the condo- (Billie took me to the pool for a swim which I always love) and we all sat at the dinner table to eat. We all talked about our day and our favorite parts. My absolute fav part of the day was getting to feed and pet the dolphins. Another busy day tomorrow so good night.

Day One...

So we slept in a bit today since it was so late when we arrived.

Then we made a trip to Wally-World to get some groceries and stuff to eat for the week.  It was crowded- no big suprise.  Then came back to the condo and had some lunch.

We were lazy for a while then to the pool. We had the entire pool to ourselves.

This evening we went to the Medieval Times show and dinner. And WOW---where do I start?????

We were on team yellow...(which means we cheered for the yellow Knight)...

We were served food on metal plates and bowls and had to eat with our hands.  It was like half a chicken, potato, ribs, and this soup we sipped from a bowl.

It was wayyyy too much food. There were Knights fighting with swords, riding horses and jousting. My favorite part was when the horses bowed to the king. Well, and our yellow Knight throwing a flower to me.

It was definately an experience that I will never forget. I think the whole family really had fun.

Its time for bed now....we are supposed to go to Seaworld tomorrow. (yippee-can't wait)

Good night for now!
